Triangle ReStore staff members gathered in October to start building the fourth annual ReStore Round-Up House, made possible by shopper donations at check out.
“It’s rewarding to see our staff come out and be part of this,” said Ryan Stein, Clayton ReStore Manager.
This year's home is being built in Hope Grove, a mixed-income community designed to expand affordable homeownership opportunities in Garner. The neighborhood launched earlier this year, becoming Habitat for Humanity Greater Raleigh's largest neighborhood development to date. The 150-acre property will feature 400 new lots and amenity spaces such as greenways, walking trails, picnic shelters, playgrounds and recreational areas.
“Habitat Greater Raleigh is in a time of expansion because the need in our community is so great,” said CEO Patricia Burch. “Access to affordable housing opens up a world of possibilities.”

If you've shopped at a Triangle ReStore, you've been asked if you'd like to round up your purchase or make a donation at checkout. Those contributions add up to make a big difference.
Since launching the ReStore Round-Up Program, the Triangle ReStores have raised more than $1 million to fund an additional affordable home in the community each year since 2021.
“We wouldn’t be able to make this successful without the excitement and engagement from our team,” said Jason Nesler, Director of ReStores. “Our story is the selling point, and our staff are the masters at telling that story.”
Thanks to the commitment of ReStore teams and the generosity of shoppers throughout the Triangle, ReStore Round-Up has continued to grow. It gives the community a direct and easy way to support Habitat's mission.
With this year's home in Hope Grove, contributions will help shape a new neighborhood that reflects Habitat Greater Raleigh's vision for expanding access to affordable housing.
As the program continues, the goal remains the same: to raise enough money each year to fund an additional Habitat home through donations at the register.
Next time you're making a purchase at one of our locations, consider donating to the ReStore Round-Up House. Thank you for helping us build homes, communities and hope!
