Donate to the ReStores.

COVID-19 Update: Our trucks are now running!

New safety protocols:

We have safety protocols in place to help ensure the safety of our donors and our donation ambassadors.

  • All donations must be outside or in your garage:

    • A staff member will fill out their donation receipt and send to the donor.

  • Donations will be separated upon arrival:

    • Non-porous items will be wiped down and disinfected immediately.

    • Upholstered items will be put in a “holding area” in each store to sit for 72 hours before processing.

  • Staff are required to wear gloves when accepting and disinfecting donations.

Pick-up requirements:

Our trucks are 26 feet. In order to maximize our resources, we ask the following:

  • You must have at least two large, qualifying items.
  • Items must be on the ground floor.
  • Items must be located in Wake, Johnston, Durham, or Orange counties.

Donation Guidelines

In order to better serve our customers, we do have specific criteria for acceptable goods. All donations are tax-deductible. Please follow the general guidelines below. If you’re unsure if your donation meets the criteria please call 919-744-2420.

The donation criteria list is subject to change.  Some donations may be declined due to safety concerns, facility limitations or marketability.

If you are considering a large business donation or an estate donation, we would love to help you out! Larger donations are wonderful and often require extra planning and resources. Please contact Eric at 919-744-2416 or eric (at) trianglerestores dot org for this type of donation.
