Every day is #NationalRecyclingDay at our Habitat ReStores! Being sustainable and environmentally-friendly is a core tenant of our mission since we deal in recycled goods every day. Our philosophy is first to reuse if possible, then to recycle, and finally, as a last resort, to dispose of in the most environmentally-friendly way possible. 

Wanting to take on a new recycled art project? At the Habitat ReStore, you can browse through a dynamic pool of recycled materials for your project, and because donating to a ReStore helps divert millions of tons of usable materials from landfills each year, you’re creating green art that benefits the environment.  

Check out a few of these DIY projects from some of our volunteers and staff:
